The dinner was attended by members of the Rwanda National Police (RNP) High Council.

Minister Biruta said Rwanda and Jordan enjoy strong bilateral relations, including in the security sector, and reaffirmed their commitment to deepening cooperation.

He made the call while delivering the keynote address during the third day of the Operation Usalama Comprehensive Review Meeting in Kigali.

The meeting was held as part of Maj Gen Maaitah's three-day official visit to Rwanda and focused on strengthening cooperation.

The youth had previously been involved in activities that undermined public safety and community wellbeing, including violence, vagrancy, theft and drug abuse.
