Some 45 law enforcement officers from Rwanda National Police (RNP), Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB) and Rwanda Correctional Service (RCS), on Friday, July 12, completed the 11th intake of the Police Junior Command and Staff Course (PJCSCS) at the National Police College (NPC) in Musanze District.
The Deputy Inspector General (DIGP) in charge of Administration and Personnel, DCG Jeanne Chantal Ujeneza, presided over the pass-out. She congratulated the graduands and urged them to utilize the acquired knowledge and skills to think, plan, and operate beyond traditional and classical policing methods.

“The attitudes, skills and knowledge you have acquired in operational staff work, field training exercises, and routine staff work will significantly benefit you and your respective units and organizations,” DCG Ujeneza said.
Today, she added, the global policing environment requires security personnel at all levels to possess the necessary professional knowledge and skills to effectively address contemporary challenges.

She pointed out that the Government of Rwanda, and the Rwanda National Police in particular, have made substantial investments in capacity building to ensure that law enforcement institutions are well-equipped to confront evolving security threats.
The Commandant of NPC, Commissioner of Police (CP) Rafiki Mujiji, thanked the trainees for their discipline, commitment and eagerness to learn exhibited throughout the course.
