Police Volleyball and Handball clubs maintained their unbeaten run to solidify their positions at the top of the national championships standing.
Police Volleyball Club avoided the scare against Kepler VC on Saturday, December 7, to register a 3-1 victory to wrap up Phase One of the national volleyball championship in unbeaten style.
Kepler VC won the first set on 22-25, but the table leaders proved their supremacy to dictate the match taking all the three sets on 25-18, 25-22, 25-22.
The game played at Amahoro Petit stadium, was also attended by the visiting Inspector General of The Gambia Police Force, Gen. Seedy Muctar Touray, and his delegation.

HANDBALL
Police Handball Club also wrapped up the first round with a double win over Nyakabanda HC (56-21) and ES Kigoma (49-22), to register 24 maximum points.
Meanwhile, Police Women Volleyball Club ended Phase One with a win over Huye WVC in three straight sets (25-8, 25-13, 25-11).
