Police in Gasabo District has recovered a vehicle which was stolen early this month in Nyarugenge District.
The vehicle, registration number RAB 016U, was stolen on March 6 from a parking lot at Muhima hospital where the owner, Grace Boramungu had gone for a medical check-up.
One person has so far been arrested in connection with this theft.
The vehicle was recovered in Masezero cell of Gisozi Sector where it was parked.
The suspect, names withheld, confessed to the crime.
He said, together with his accomplice, who is still at large, had already finalised arrangements to take the vehicle out of the country, where they had secured a buyer.
Boramungu thanked Rwanda National Police for recovering his vehicle.
"I am happy that my vehicle has been recovered and thank Police for the successful search," Boramungu said.
