The racket was found at the home of Jean D'amour Majyambere located in Cyimbazi Village, Ntunga Cell, Mwurire Sector, where they were hiding stolen items, according to Superintendent of Police (SP) Hamdun Twizeyimana, the Police spokesperson for the Eastern region.

"Police recovered from the home of Majyambere different stolen items including a motorcycle plate number RF 696H, three bicycles, a digital camera, two electric kettles, double gas burner, gas cylinder, two radio sets, four bags and other home materials," SP Twizeyimana said.

To burst the racket and to recover the stolen valuables, SP Twizeyimana said that it followed the theft of the motorcycle in Nyakariro, which had a GPS.

Each of the members of the ring had a role to play. Besides the couple which was responsible for storing the stolen goods and looking for buyers, Habimana and Dukuzimana are behind the theft of the motorcycle in Nyakariro while bicycles were stolen by Nyungura in Gikomero.

All the suspects were handed over to RIB at Rwamagana station for further legal process.
