Twenty-seven laptop computers stolen from Groupe Scolaire Nyamagana last month, have been recovered by the Police and arrested six people connected to the theft.

"Following the theft and the subsequent filing of the theft case by the school administration, police immediately started investigations. We later received information from a resident, who had seen a man selling two laptops, which raised suspicion," IP Kayigi said.
"After the arrest of the man, who was looking for buyers, we found out that the two laptops were among those that had been stolen. We followed the trails and we recovered 25 others from five people, who were also arrested," he added.
He identified the suspects as Aimable Nshimiyimana, 29; Jean Pierre Muyoboke, 38; Jean Paul Habakurama 23; Japhet Nshimiyimana 27; Priscille Niyonsenga and Jean Paul Ndagijimana, both aged 37 years.
