Youth volunteers hold retreat on crime prevention

Fifty-two coordinators and members of the executive committee of Rwanda Youth Volunteers in Community Policing on February 18 held a one day retreat to deliberate on various issues related to social protection. RNP, Muslim youth leaders draw strategies against radicalism and extremism

Seventy-five Muslim youth leaders on February 16 held a one day workshop which concluded with laying strategies to enhance cooperation with Rwanda National Police (RNP) in raising awareness and fighting radicalism and extremism.

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Emmanuel K. Gasana reminded the Muslim youth leaders to always “consider the national vision” that is tailored towards “national transformation, unity, thinking big and accountability.”
