Nyamasheke: Three health workers under investigation over forgery
Three health workers at Kivugiza health centre in Karambi Sector, Nyamasheke District were arrested following investigations into alleged “forgeries and illegalities” in their appointment.
Two nurses and a laboratory assistant were taken into custody on March 2, after investigations revealed that they forged the Ministry of Health letter appointing them for the job. Read more
Nyagatare: Vehicle intercepted trafficking contrabands
Police in Nyagatare District intercepted a pickup vehicle on March 1, which was loaded with contrabands that had been sneaked into the country.
The Toyota Hilux RAA 122I was intercepted in Bugarama, Gacundezi in Rwimiyaga Sector carrying about 65 boxes of Zebra Waragi, a gin packed in plastic bags and classified as narcotics in Rwanda. Read more

Police Football Club beat leaders SC Kiyovu 2-0 at Mumena Stadium on Friday to move into third spot on the Azam Rwanda Premier League standings.

More exhibits in Rwf10 million stolen from city supermarket recovered
Investigations into theft of Rwf10 million at a supermarket in the Central Business District of Nyarugenge early this month, recovered other exhibits including three motorcycles that had been bought using the stolen money.
The money was allegedly stolen on February 9 at T2000 supermarket by one Ismael Sengimana, who was an employee at the supermarket. Sengimana was found in possession of Rwf440, 000 only, at the time of his arrest. Read more

Three people were arrested on February 26, in Nyungwe National Park, where they were carrying out poaching activities.
