GASABO: Hospitality establishment manager arrested over selling alcohol to minors

The manager of 360 Degrees Pizza Resto-bar located in Kimihurura Sector, Gasabo District was arrested for allegedly selling alcoholic beverages to minors.

Anthony Kagame was taken into custody on Saturday, December 4, after Police found a group of ten minors in the bar drinking at about 8:30pm.  Read more...

Police warns driving test candidates against attempted bribery


A man only identified as Manizabayo, was arrested on Saturday, December 4, in Byumba Sector of Gicumbi District for attempting to offer a bribe amounting to Frw100,000 to Police officers.

Manizabayo had failed the practical driving test when he decided to take the criminal move to influence the officers to overturn the results and include him on the list of those who passed the test.  Read more...

The Rwanda National Police (RNP) fire awareness was on Thursday, December 9, extended to 50 staff of the University Teaching Hospital of Butare (CHUB) in Huye District.

NYAGATARE: Police intercept smuggler with 20,000 pieces of polythene bag

On Monday, December 6, at about 7pm, Rwanda National Police (RNP) arrested a man identified as Ezra Nshimyumuremyi, 18, in Rwempasha Sector, Nyagatare District with 20,000 pieces of plastic bags that he was sneaking into the country from Uganda.  Read more...
