Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dan Munyuza, on Thursday, October 14, attended the meeting of Council of Police Chiefs (CPC) from the Eastern Africa Police Chiefs Cooperation Organization (EAPCCO) in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

 Rwanda, Italian Police hold bilateral meeting in Kigali


Rwanda National Police (RNP) and Arma dei Carabinieri, held a bilateral meeting on Monday, October 11, to strengthen the existing cooperation in policing matters.

There are cases of drivers, who are stopped by traffic police officers for delayed clearance of traffic offence fines.

In some cases, owners of automobiles are not aware of the traffic violations especially when the breach is detected by the traffic cameras on road. In some circumstances, some people do not receive messages of traffic offence committed.  Read more...

 DRIVING TESTS: Candidates cautioned against using impersonators


Theory and practical driving tests resumed on October 11, in City of Kigali, and will run until October 22, before shifting to other parts of the country effective October 25.

Over 23,000 will do the tests in the three districts of Gasabo, Kicukiro and Nyarugenge. More than 16,400 registered for practical tests.  Read more...

Fourteen people were arrested in the  Rwanda National Police (RNP) operations against drunk-driving.
