Angola's Minister Inspector General of State Administration visit RNP
The Minister Inspector General of State Administration for Angola, Dr. Sebastiao Domingos Gunza, on Thursday August 12, visited Rwanda National Police (RNP) as part of his visit to explore Rwanda's anti-corruption policy and its implementation to fight and prevent graft.
Dr. Sebastiao and his delegation, who were accompanied by Angola's ambassador to Rwanda, Eduardo Filomeno Leiro Oct?vio, were welcomed at the RNP General Headquarters in Kacyiru, by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dan Munyuza. Read more...

Police officers complete 'Marine Diving' course
Twelve Police officers, on Wednesday, August 11, completed a six-week 'Marine Diving' course conducted in Lake Kivu, Rubavu District.
It was conducted in partnership with Galint limited, a private maritime company from Israel.

NYARUGENGE: Man arrested for vandalizing electricity poles
A man identified as Felicien Nkomeje, 29, was arrested on Tuesday, August 10, at about 6am, in Nyarugenge District for allegedly vandalizing electricity pylons, which he was selling as scraps.
Nkomeje was arrested red-handed in Nyabikoni Village, Nyabugogo Cell, Kigali Sector with eight pieces of metal, which he had stolen from the vandalized pylons. Read more...
GICUMBI: 50kgs of minerals seized from illegal dealer
A man suspected of engaging in illegal trade of minerals was arrested on Monday, August 9, at about 7pm, in Gisunzu Village, Murindi Cell, Kaniga Sector, Gicumbi District.
Oscar Byamukama, 28, was at the time found in possession 50kgs of cassiterite minerals. He was at the time with another person, who managed to flee, Superintendent of Police (SP) Gisanga Ndahimana, the District Police Commander (DPC) for Gicumbi, said. Read more...
