Rwanda, Lesotho Police institutions sign cooperation pact
Rwanda National Police (RNP) and Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to formalize cooperation in various policing matters.
The cooperation pact was signed on Tuesday, August 24, in Kigali between the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dan Munyuza and his Lesotho counterpart, Commissioner of Police Holomo Molibeli. Read more...

Visiting Lesotho Police Chief tours RNP facilities in Rubavu
The visiting Commissioner of Police for Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS), Holomo Molibeli, on Friday, August 27, visited various Rwanda National Police (rnp) facilities in Rubavu District.
Commissioner OF Police Molibeli and his delegation, who arrived in Rwanda on August 23, toured the Western Regional Police Unit (RPU) in Rubavu District, One-Stop Border Post with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) where he witnessed the cross-border security operations for both vehicles and pedestrians, and Marine Police operations in Lake Kivu. Rwanda National Police seize over 627kgs of cannabis in Rubavu
Rwanda National Police (RNP) continued to make headways against drug trafficking rings in Rubavu, one of the identified major trafficking routes from the neighbouring Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
