Rwanda National Police (RNP) would like to thank all Rwandans for their partnership and support that led to the smooth, secure and incident-free referendum held on December 18, 2015 in a usual calm environment.
The referendum which involved a lot of movement of people to and from polling sites across the country, escorting electoral materials from and back to National Electoral Commission (NEC) head offices, and ensuring security around polling sites were successful.
RNP further appreciates the partnership of other stakeholders in ensuring security during and after elections. This was another milestone in policing major national events - an achievement we also attribute to all our esteemed policing partners.
