Police in Kicukiro is holding a head-teacher of Nyakabanda Primary school, Clement Biramahire for allegedly defiling his 15-year old housemaid.

The incident took place on September 29 at the suspect’s home at the time the wife was away, according to Police investigations.

The suspect is currently held at Kicukiro Police Station as investigations continue.

It is alleged that the victim informed the suspect’s mother after she was sexually abuse, but she was of no help, which prompted the victim to seek help from a neighbor, who in-turn alerted police.

Supt. Modeste Mbabazi, the Central region Police Spokesperson condemned the act.

“It’s insane for someone who is expected to lead by example, to do such an unthinkable act,” Mbabazi noted.

He appealed to the public to always call Police’s emergency toll free lines, 112 and 3512, for quick response, in case of such sexual acts.
