Police in Kirehe District on Thursday recovered an assortment of electronics which were thieved in various homes in the area.

The recovered electrons include a television set, DVD players and radios. Others include mattress, clothes and batteries.

They were recovered from the suspected thieves, who were also arrested. The three
suspects were arrested, red handed, on Thursday morning with the stolen goods.
 
They allegedly stole the equipment after breaking into houses in Nyamugari and Kigarama sectors on Wednesday night.
 
They are currently detained at Kirehe Police Station.

The Eastern Region Spokesperson Senior Superintendent (SSP) Jean Marie Njangwe
said the suspects were trailed after area residents provided security organs
with the information.

SSP Njangwe called upon the public to abstain from crimes and instead urged them to report any one that is a threat to the
security in their communities.
