UR-CASS vs Police
The Rwanda National Police handball club will be a point closer to lifting their third league trophy in four seasons should they beat the third placed-APR when the two meet at Kimisagara Youth Centre this Saturday.
With 39-maximum points, the Police side will be seeking only one win and a draw in their remaining three games to add their fourth trophy in the cabin this season, having already won the Labour Day, Genocide Memorial and Liberation day tournaments.
A win attracts three points.
Police handball club tops the log with a margin of nine points above reigning champions Gicumbi, who have a game in hand.
APR lies third with 29 points followed by ES Kigoma with 28.
“It is not about lifting the trophy alone; we also want to set a record of maximum-league points and that means our goal is also win the remaining three matches,” Police coach Assistant Inspector of Police Antoine Ntabanganyimana, said
