Like many other musical groups, artistes and poets, who have been awarded for using their talents to sensitise the public to fight and prevent crimes, Iryamukuru has also released various songs related to community policing and calling upon Rwandans to play a central role in promoting safety by partnering with security organs through timely information sharing on wrongdoers, and harnessing the ideals of neighbourhood watch.

Commissioner of Police (CP) Emmanuel Butera commended the role of the public in fighting and preventing crimes, and urged them to enhance this partnership and report anything unlawful including drug dealers, GBV, corruption, and child abuse among others.

"There is no going back; Rwanda has taken the path where everyone is empowered to ensure safety and security, and to enjoy peaceful environment while engaging in development activities," CP Butera said.
