Police handball club shift focus to 'Liberation Cup'

The Police handball club has started preparations for the 'Liberation Cup' tournament which which gets underway on July 12 at Kimisagara youth centre.

Police coach, Assistant Inspector of Police Antoine Ntabanganyimana said their focus now is to also add the Liberation Cup in their cabin.

The law enforcers have enjoyed unbeaten run this season, winning both the Labour Day and Genocide memorial tournaments.

They also sit on top of the national league table with 30 maximum points, five ahead of second placed.

"We also want to win this cup because right now this is our focus and players know it. We are preparing ourselves towards that," he said.

"Wining the Liberation Cup as a security organs club is exceptional and to dedicate it to our comrades who put their lives at stake to liberate this country and Rwandans," said AIP Ntabanganyimana.
