Police 2-1 Musanze

Two first half goals from the new signing Isaie Isonga guided Police FC to the final match of this year's Agaciro Development Fund Cup after beating Musanze 2-1 on Saturday at Kicukiro stadium.

Isonga scored early in the first minute before he added the second goal in the 27th minute to make it 2-0 before half time.

The 2015 Peace Cup champions were in control of the entire match, but this spirit and determination was not enough to break the Musanze defence again, despite the likes of Mohamed Mushimiyimana, Amran Nshimiyimana and Hergman Ngomirakiza running rings around Musanze midfield and defence.

The miscommunication between Police FC defence was later in the last 15 minutes of the match to give Musanze a break through to earn their only goal of the match through Didier Nkurunziza.

Although Police FC head coach Andre Cassa Mbugo was full of praises for storming the final, he was quick to reiterate that there's a major match ahead to think and plan for.

"We are happy to reach the final, I can’t be contented until we win the final against either Rayon Sports or Sunrise,” said Casa Mbungo.

Police will face in the finals, the winner between Rayon Sports and Sunrise, who meet today.

The final of the 2015 Agaciro Development Fund Cup will be played next Sunday at Amahoro National Stadium
