Police football club will face APR FC in this year's 'Peace Cup' finals after the former knocked out Sec Academy in an entertaining semi final match played on June 27 at Kicukiro artificial turf.
The law enforcers booked their place in the finals to be played on Liberation Day after beating the Kicukiro-based Sec Academy 4-3 to register 8-5 on aggregate.
Striker Sina Jerome continued to walk the talk of guiding Police FC to a silverware this season by grabbing a hat-trick.
All the Police FC goals were scored in the first half.
Police coach, Sam Simbwa said this was a hard-fought match but thanked his team for the winning spirit.
"Our target is to lift the Peace Cup and that's what we are looking up to," he said.
APR also reached the finals after knocking out Kiyovu 6-3 on aggregate.
