Rwanda National Police (RNP) Handball Club thrashed Uganda's Evergreen 40-28 in their second match of the East and Central Africa Handball Federation (ECAHF) senior club championship played on Tuesday, December 5, in Nairobi, Kenya.
It is a back-to-back victory for the law enforcers, who opened their campaign with a hard-fought 29-28 win over Equity HC of Kenya, on Monday.
Police HC was in the driving seat throughout the match, having scored 21 goals in the first half against 11 for Evergreen and completed the task with more 19 goals in the second period.

Police HC coach, Chief Inspector of Police (rtd) Antoine Ntabanganyimana said that their second win has placed them in a better position to secure a place in the semi-finals.
"We are participating in this tournament for the seventh time and we have been victorious four times (2014, 2015, 2019 and 2021).
We will be playing against Uganda Prison in our final group game, and we hope that we will have good results to go on in the semi-finals to continue the chase for our fifth glory," Ntabanganyimana said.
Police HC is placed in the group alongside Equity and GSU both from Kenya, and Uganda Prison.
