One player, Haruna Bizimana was also released by the club.
Police HC head coach, Inspector of Police (IP) Antoine Ntabanganyimana, said that the extension of contracts was based on the performance of each player in the concluded season.

He added that the extension of contracts was in line with the club's early preparations for the three upcoming regional and continental tournaments.
Police Handball Club will participate in the Eastern Africa Police Chiefs Cooperation Organization (EAPCCO) games to be played in Nairobi, Kenya between August 25 and September 2.
It will also represent Rwanda in Africa handball champions League in Cape Verde come October, and take part in the Eastern Africa and Central Africa Handball Federations Cup (ECAHF) which will be played in December in Kigali.
