Police sealed its third place in Agaciro Cup after beating APR 1-0 this Sunday at Amahoro stadium.

Osee Iyabivuze's goal in the 72 minute was enough for the law enforcers to see off the military side.

Iyabivuze headed in a free-kick, which was awarded to Police after winger Nshuti Savio Dominique was fouled by Ange Mutsinzi.

Agaciro Cup is an annual tournament that brings together top four clubs in the national football league.

The win over APR to take the third place was a consolation following a disappointing penalty shootout on Friday, when they lost to Rayon Sports.

APR had also lost to Makura Victory Sport to vie for the third spot.

In the finals, Mukura VS beat Rayon Sport 2-1 to be crowned the 2019 Agaciro Cup champions.

The winner is awarded Rwf3 million, second place takes Rwf1.5 million, while Rwf500,000 is awarded for the third place.
