Rwanda National Police

The two-month competitive Security and Hygiene campaign jointly conducted by Rwanda National Police (RNP) and the City of Kigali, which officially started on Tuesday in Nyarugenge District, continued on the third day in Kicukiro.

Officials from the two institutions were joined by residents in cleaning up some parts of the district including sewage systems, bushy areas and picking littered waste especially in parts of Gikondo.

The seven edition of the joint partnership between RNP and City of Kigali seeks to strengthen the culture of safety, security, green and clean city through public awareness, household visits, information sharing and operations against crime and joint communal activities – Umuganda.

The competitive exercise will also seek the best sectors given different awards including vehicles.
