Assistant Commissioner of Police, Damas Gatare, the Commissioner for Public Relations and Community Policing said the RNP vision is to have a “credible, capable, vibrant, and professional force to deal with the modern socio-economic policing related challenges.”

“Rwanda Police officers are doing a great job in bringing peace and security in and out of the country,” Sininta said.

“I am impressed by the level of cleanness in Rwanda, the effectiveness and well organized traffic department and the force’s commitment and measures to fight corruption,” he said.

He also visited the Ethics Centre and Isange One Stop Centre which operates under the Kacyiru Police Hospital.

“This is a clear indication on how effective RNP addresses gende-related crimes and serve as a role model to other police forces,” he observed.
