The chairman of the National Itorero Commission, Boniface Rucagu, yesterday challenged students of Kigali Institute of Management (KIM) to uphold the national values of dignity and patriotism and join other Rwandans in the transformation of the country.
While speaking at the official launch civic education for KIM students at their campus, Rucagu noted that the overall of his docket is to mobilize Rwandans especially the youth to build a focused generation the country desires, who will spearhead the development agenda and take the nation to great heights.
The civic education codenamed ‘Inshozabigwi za KIM’ was organised in partnership with KIM, Rwanda National Police and the National Itorero Commission.
Rucagu further appealed to the college administration to include these values in their curriculum.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Damas Gatare, Commissioner for Public Relations and Community Policing in RNP called upon the students to give no ear to negative ideas and propaganda and take advantage of the technology and dominate the social networks platform and communicate Rwanda’s success story and its development agenda to the rest of the world.
