The participants tackled key issues such as their role in crime prevention, information sharing with security organs and nighting patrols.

In a bide to decentralize anti-gender-based activities, the Rwanda National Police (RNP) in October last year inaugurated its gender desk, Kicukiro branch to provide legal and psycho-socio support to GBV victims.

The facility worth over Rwf30 million, situated in Kicukiro sector, was constructed in conjunction with Kicukiro District.
