Striker Osee Iyabivuze's goal in the last moments of the match salvaged Police FC to a deserved 3-2 victory over Gicumbi FC, on Sunday.
It was on Day Three of Rwanda Premier League played at Kigali stadium.
Police squandered its 2-0 lead score. Striker Justin Mico and captain Aimable Nsabimana had put the law enforcers in a double lead before the first period.
However, visitors came back with composure in the second half, scoring two back-to-back goals, and brought the game back to square one.
The match entered the last 10 minutes of normal time with two goals for each side.
The defining moment was, however, yet to come. In the dying minutes of the match, chance presented itself and it was Iyabivuze Osee, who utilized Mico's pass to win the match for Police.
The win took Police to seven points; two wins and a draw. Police are now placed third on the log, although only separated by two goals with table leaders, APR.
