The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Emmanuel K. Gasana, on January 21, met Police officers operating in Musanze District and urged them to exhibit “high-level of professionalism” and hard work.
The visit aimed at evaluating the DPU’s performance in implementing policing strategies towards sustainable security.
In a meeting with the officers and the DPU headquarters in Musanze, the IGP thanked them for their resilience and urged them to be disciplined, uphold the force’s principles and valued in executing their duties.
He appealed to them to desist from malpractices like corruption which might tarnish their name and that of the institution.
Present was also the Commissioner for Human Resource and Management, CSP Vincent Sano, ACP Jean Marie Vianney Twagirayezu and the Northern Region Police Commander, ACP Francis Gakwaya.
