The Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) in charge of Administration and Personnel, Juvenal Marizamunda is in Eswatini to attend the country's Police Day celebrations scheduled to be marked today, August 9.

Representing Rwanda National Police (RNP) leadership, DIGP Marizamunda paid a courtesy call to the National Commissioner of the Royal Eswatini Police Services, W.W. Dlamini on August 8.

They discussed matters related to bilateral cooperation in various areas of policing especially training and capacity building.

"Joint training, sharing best practice and sharing of accurate and timely information will inturn facilitate regional and international initiatives to combat transnational and organised crimes" said DIGP Marizamunda.

Training and capacity building remains one of the ki priorities in Rwanda National Police.
