Rwanda National Police (RNP) informs the general public that the auctioning process of impounded automobiles in the City of Kigali has been extended.
The auctioning is still underway at the impounding site in Kacyiru.
However, the date for the exercise in other districts remains unchanged.
The auctioning is in line with the law No. 34/1987 of 17/9/1987 relating to traffic and road traffic policies, especially in its articles 35, 36, 37 and 38 on impounding of vehicles;
It is also in accordance with the Presidential Decree No. 85/01 of 02/09/2002 regulating general traffic Police and road traffic as stipulated in articles 151, 152, 153 and 154 relating to impounding of vehicles;
Calendar for auctioning in regions
Eastern Province
On November 23, 2016, auctioning exercise will be in Bugesera at the District Police Unit offices.
On November 24, 2016, it will be held in Rwamagana at the District Police Unit offices
In Kayonza, the auction will be held on November 25, 2016 at the District Police Unit offices.
On November 28, 2016, it will be held in Gatsibo at the District Police Unit offices.
On November 29, 2016, it will be in Nyagatare at the District Police Unit offices.
On November 30, 2016, it will be in Ngoma at the District Police Unit offices.
On December 01, 2016, it will be in Kirehe at the District Police Unit offices.
Southern Province
On December 02, 2016, it will be in Kamonyi at the District Police Unit offices.
On December 05, 2016, it will be in Muhanga at the District Police Unit offices.
On December 06, 2016, it will be in Ruhango at the District Police Unit offices.
