Rwanda National Police (RNP) will conduct the public auction exercise for the impounded automobiles, at the parking lot in Kacyiru, Gasabo District, between October 11th and 12th.
RNP, therefore, reminds the public that all national Covid-19 prevention measures must be observed during auctioning exercise.
RNP spokesperson, Commissioner of Police(CP) John Bosco Kabera said that all people intending to take part in the exercise will be required to produce negative Covid-19 test results taken within the last 72 hours.
?Police officers will be stationed at different points and auctioning ground to check the Covid-19 test results and to ensure that the national prevention protocols are observed.
There are hand-washing facilities at the entrance of the RNP headquarter for people to wash their hands with clean water and soap. Face masks must be worn at all times and physical distancing must be maintained," CP Kabera said.
The automobiles to be auctioned as the law provides, are those that were impounded in varied Police operations.
The visit to the auctioning parking yard for viewing, started on September 20, and is expected to end on October 8.
