Police FC wind up league in style, Handball Club crowned champions

Police Football Club winded up the 2013/2014 Turbo King National Football League with a 6-0 easy win over Marines FC in a match on April 4 at Kicukiro artificial turf.
 
Emmanuel Sebanani Crespo shook the Marines net on the 20th minute to finish the first half before the Police side went riot in the second half to add five others on the board.
 
Jacques Tuyisenge also increased his tally to 12 goals with a brace – on the 50th  and 55th minute, making him the season’s third leading scorer.
 
Eric Muhanuka, Peter Kagabo and Jean Bosco Uwacu were also on targeted as Police FC completed their 6-0 route over Marines.
 
Police FC finished fourth on the log with 47 points.
 
Coach Sam Ssimbwa thanked players for their devotion, zeal and hard work throughout the season.
 
Police Handball Club crowned Labour Day Champions

 
Elsewhere, Police Handball Club was crowned champions of this year’s ‘Labour Day Cup’ after beating Gicumbi 35-26 on the finals played last Saturday.
 
Assistant Inspector of Police (AIP) Antoine Ntabaganyimana, Police handball club head coach attributed the win to the determination and result-focused players who were committed to win the tournament.
 
Police Handball are also second on the national handball league table with nine maximum points from three games, but separated by goal difference with log leaders, ES Kigoma, also have nine points.
