Police handball club joined ES Kigoma after beating the APR handball club in a tightly contested game at Kimisagara youth sports centre on Sunday.
It now lies third on the log with maximum 9 points in 3 games after beating APR 22-21.
Assistant Inspector Antoine Ntabaganyimana, head coach of police handball club expressed his satisfaction with his players’ effort in taming the former league winners.
“We are well prepared and players are focused to winning each and every game. It’s been a tight game but we have done our best to win, I am happy for the players” he said shortly after the game.
All the three teams have nine points but ES Kigoma and APR lead the table in that order on goal difference with Police third.
