Rwanda National Police

June 24, 2014: His Excellency the President of the Republic of Rwanda, by the powers entrusted to him by the Constitution in its article 113 clause 7, has appointed the following officers to various administrative positions in Rwanda National Police.

1.   Lieutenant Colonel Juvenal MARIZAMUNDA from Rwanda Defence Forces (RDF) has been transferred to Rwanda National Police and given the rank of “Deputy Commissioner General of Police” (DCGP) and appointed the “Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Administration and Personnel (DIGP A/P).

2.   Assistant Commissioner of Police Jean Marie Vianney TWAGIRAYEZU has been appointed the Commissioner for Intelligence.
