Today morning, July 5th, Robert Francis Lafrate, a 63-year old American said to be a missionary was found dead in his rented house in Bibare cell, Kimironko sector of Gasabo District, where he was staying alone.
It is believed the body had spent a couple of days in the house.
The dead body was taken to Kacyiru Police Hospital for post-mortem.
However, various types of assorted wines and spirits were found in his house.
The US Embassy security and medical personnel are collaborating with Rwanda National Police to establish the possible cause of his death.
As investigations continue,we are in touch with the embassy to repatriate the body after full Police investigations.
