Over 3000 sit for provisional driving license tests in Kigali

More than 3000 candidates from Kigali sat for the provisional driving licence tests held on Monday.

The tests were conducted at Amahoro stadium where 2071 people converged, and Nyamirambo stadiums.

Consolée Uwamahoro, 49, one of the candidates from Gatsata sector in Gasabo district thanked Rwanda national Police for “easing the procedures to acquire a licence.

“For me, the test was easy. Basing on how I responded to questions, I am optimistic I will pass because I took time to revise and I was well prepared,” she said.

“The test was not difficult for one who had revised. Though it is hard to predict the results, I am confident I will pass,” Benjamin Uwumukiza, another candidate from Niboyi sector in Kicukiro district, said.

Chief Supt. Rafiki Mujiji, the Director of Testing and Licensing said there was big turn-up and were well prepared for the tests, will all the required documents.
