Forty commissioners and senior Police officers held a one-day workshop on Thursday where they were explained on various strategies to improve their leadership and management abilities.
The workshop was facilitated by experts from Singapore.
The Inspector General of Police, Emmanuel K. Gasana said good governance means quality services and creates good working atmosphere between leaders and their workers.
He said good governance is a prerequisite as a people’s force charge with fighting and preventing crimes in partnership with the community.
He urged the officers to utilize the chance and to be exemplary and their leadership in order to realise the force’s targets.
