Police officers attending Intermediate Command Course in study tour

Thirty- six Police officers attending the Intermediate Command Course at the National Police College (NPC) in Musanze district started a tour of different institutions as to enrich their knowledge on various government development programmes.
 
In the tour which started on Monday, the officers led by the Commandant of NPC, CP Vianney Nshyimiyimana visited Rwanda Governance Board (RGB), Isange One-Stop Centre at Kacyiru Police Hospital and Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA).
 
They also visited Rwanda Development Board (RDB), the Office of the Ombudsman and Media High Council (MHC).
 
The officers were explained on how these institutions function and their partnership with Rwanda National Police in implementing policies.
 
CP Nshimiyimana said: “As Police officers and Rwandans, we need to know more about government policies, which also helps us to fulfil our assignments and also support one another to serve our country effectively.”
 
Xavier Mbarubucyeye, the Permanent Secretary at the Office of the Ombudsman said:”We are all serving one people and one nation; we therefore need to learn from each other and partner to serve Rwandans effectively.”
