Youth tipped on crime prevention

Fighting and preventing crimes is a shared responsibility, which the youth should spearhead as future leaders.

This is one of the messages that were delivered to the 296 youth of Rwandan True Hope in Kicukiro Technical Vocational Training (TVT) on Wednesday.

The youth, who were formally engaged in various illegal acts, are pursuing various courses which include tailoring, mechanics, computer learning, film & Editing, Traffic Rules and English lessons.

Chief Inspector of Police (CIP) Jean Claude Kabandana told the youth to always be whistle browsers on any suspected criminal activities so that the threats are contained, including arresting those involved.

He advised them to say no to drug abuse and instead concentrate on their studies and use the skills they will acquire to develop themselves and their families.

The youth said they will own this noble course and join hands with security organs to fight all illegal activities.
