The District Police Commander of Kayonza, Senior Superintendent, Innocent Seminega has commended area residents for their continued commitment in insuring their safety by fighting and preventing crimes, which has improved security in the district.

The praises follows recent arrest of various wrongdoers in the district, including…a plan of a woman who had plotted to kill her husband, thanks to tip-offs from area residents.

Rwanda National Police (RNP) has commended the general public for their significant role in fighting and prevention of crimes, which has improved security in the country.

The suspect is currently detained at Rukara Police Station.

Senior Superintendent Seminega, who condemned the attempted bloody act, commended the public for their “bravery and for being responsible citizens.”

Such good partnership with security organs in crime prevention, he explained, should be emulated by every Rwandan citizen to further ensure peace and security in the country.
