Over 12,000 people on Monday sat for the provisional driving tests in different sites across the country.
About 3420 candidates were in Kigali – Amahoro and Nyamirambo Stadiums.
Superintendent Jean Marie Vianney Ndushabandi, the Traffic and Road Safety Spokesperson said: “Changes in the process of doing these exams have helped in conducting smooth tests.”
He added: “Candidates now come well prepared with all the documents required and start the tests in time, contrary to the earlier practice.”
