Police FC signs two new players

Police Football Club has signed two new players to strengthen its weaker positions and bolster its squad.

The new signings include midfielder Martin Fabrice Twizeyimana, who joined from Sports Club Kiyovu and right defender, Eric Iradukunda (Radu) from Rayon Sport.

The duo cemented their transfer last week on a two-year contract, Police FC spokesperson and club secretary, Chief Inspector of Police (CIP) Maurice Karangwa, said.

“We are bringing new blood in the club especially in positions that were relatively weak in the past season. We have acquired the signature of Twizeyimana and Radu on a two-year contract, hopefully we will bring other players… we are still scouting,” said CIP Karangwa.

“We are into discussions with other players from different local clubs, but to also promote our players from Interforce to a senior club. We are also discussing with players whose contracts expired or soon expiring, to extend them,” he added.

Following the premature end of the season, Police FC ended third on the log with 43 points having won 12 games scoring 33 goals, 7 draws and 4 loses.
